O INICIO
Começou a estudar música aos
cinco anos de idade na Escola de Música da Universidade Federal da Bahia, sendo o estudo de flauta transversal aos nove anos. Com apenas 11 anos concorreu na categoria jovens flautistas no concurso "Jovens instrumentistas da Bahia", promovido pela UFBA. Em 1988 conquistou três prêmios: o de Primeiro Lugar, o de Revelação e o de Musicalidade.
THE BEGINNING
He started studying music at
five years of age at the School of Music of the Federal University of Bahia, with the study of the flute transversal at the age of nine. With only 11 years old, he competed in the young flutist category in the contest "Young instrumentalists from Bahia", promoted by UFBA. In 1988, he won three awards: First, Revelation and Musicality.
TRAJETÓRIA
Como músico profissional integrou como side-man a banda de diversos artistas, dentre eles: Olodum, Nando Borges, Netinho, Cátia Guimma, Lui Muritiba, Banda Eva, Saulo Fernandes e mais recentemente, Ivete Sangalo.
Já gravou como arranjador e músico para Ivete Sangalo, Cláudia Leitte, Netinho, Cheiro de Amor, Harmonia do Samba, Banda Eva, Jammil, Carlinhos Brown, Durval Lellys, entre outros.
TRAJECTORY
As a professional musician he joined the band of several artists as a side-man, among them: Olodum, Nando Borges, Netinho, Cátia Guimma, Lui Muritiba, Banda Eva, Saulo Fernandes and more recently, Ivete Sangalo.
He has recorded as an arranger and musician for Ivete Sangalo, Cláudia Leitte, Netinho, Cheiro de Amor, Harmonia do Samba, Banda Eva, Jammil, Carlinhos Brown, Durval Lellys, among others.
